Homemade Salmon and Sweet Potato Stew Dog Food Recipe

Ingredients

| cooked salmon fillet (flaked) | 2 cups |
| cooked sweet potatoes (mashed) | 1 cup |
| cooked green peas | 1 cup |
| coconut oil | 1 tablespoon |
| fish oil (for additional omega-3 fatty acids) | 1 teaspoon |
| dried parsley (for freshness, optional) | A sprinkle |
Steps
Prepare the Salmon: Cook the salmon fillet until it flakes easily with a fork, then remove any bones and skin. Flake the salmon into small pieces.
Prepare the Sweet Potatoes and Green Peas: Cook the sweet potatoes until they are soft enough to mash. Cook the green peas until they are tender.
Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the cooked salmon, mashed sweet potatoes, and cooked green peas. Stir in the coconut oil and fish oil until well incorporated. Optionally, sprinkle dried parsley for added freshness.
Serve: Allow the stew to cool down to room temperature before serving it to your dog. Be sure to adjust the portion size according to your dog's weight and daily caloric requirements.
Storage: Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Alternatively, you can freeze portions for longer storage.
