Homemade Chicken Spinach Meatballs Dog Food Recipe

Ingredients

| defrosted frozen spinach (or fresh spinach, chopped) | 1 cu |

| rolled oats (or replace with 1/4 cup of flaxseed meal or coconut flour for a lower carb option) | 1/2 cup |
| 1 tablespoon | fresh parsley (chopped, for fresh breath) |
Steps
Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, spinach, egg, rolled oats (or flaxseed meal/coconut flour), and chopped parsley. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Form Meatballs: Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake: Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are fully cooked through and slightly browned on the outside.
Cool and Serve: Allow the meatballs to cool down to room temperature before serving them to your dog. Adjust the portion size according to your dog's weight and daily caloric needs.
Storage: Store any leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. You can also freeze portions for longer storage.
